We collect personal information to assess applications for employment or contracting, verify licences and credentials, maintain employment and compliance records, meet obligations under the Private Security Act 2004 (VIC) and Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), and contact applicants regarding recruitment outcomes or future opportunities.
We may use or disclose your information to Spartan Security Group recruitment, HR, and compliance staff, background check and verification services, licensing authorities (e.g. Victoria Police Licensing & Regulation Division), government bodies or law enforcement when required by law, and clients requiring confirmation of security staff credentials. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
All personal data is stored securely on Australian-based servers. Uploaded files (résumés, licences, certificates) are transmitted using SSL encryption. Access is restricted to authorised Spartan Security Group personnel. We take reasonable steps to protect information against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Unsuccessful applicant data is securely deleted within 12 months unless permission is granted to retain it for future opportunities. Employee and contractor records are retained in accordance with statutory requirements.
